Dan Markel was shot in his Tallahassee home. Police are releasing little information, but investigators do not believe this was a random attack, CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller reports.

Cops are searching for clues in the mysterious murder of Dan Markel, a well-liked law professor from Florida State University who was found shot to death in his home last week.Reggie Garcia, Dan's friend and neighbor, joins Jane for an exclusive interview.

Markel was apparently shot around 11 a.m. Friday. The Toronto native and Harvard graduate later died from his injuries. Police are saying this wasnt a random act of violence. Markel was gunned down in his home Friday. Attorney and neighbor Reggie Garcia said the world lost a great man. 

Friend and neighbor Reggie Garcia said as he spoke in Markel's criminal law class twice. "The law school is in mourning, the community is, he's got friends all over the nation not to mention his two young kids," Garcia said.
